Time To Change

Today I am sharing another 2” x 2” journal page. The one you see directly below I posted up on Instagram last week and some how Kim Dellow and I got on to a casual epic chat about how small could we make a face. I thought we said let’s see how small you could go, so when I drew her the 1st time she was about 4” tall. I missed the fact till I read on Show Your Face Friday (Kim’s uber cool challenge yourself to draw faces blog post) that I had committed to a face no larger than 2” tall EEEEEEEEK.

Soooooo, back to the drawing board I went and came up with this 1 ¾” tall face. It took about a day to get my sight squared back to normal (had not realized I spent 4hrs straight with reading glasses I use for super close up work cuz I don’t need them to read yet…). I went with “She felt torn” because the day I finished her I realized there are things, feelings, life choices that I need to face and let go. So yes I am torn… aren’t we all?

This month the entries could reflect who we are inspired by. My inspiration comes from Janet aka JKBees on Instagram where I met her and check out her blog Young At heART .  Janet does the most amazing hair on her women and I am especially mesmerized by the Fab hair tangles this lady does!  So what you are seeing is literally my 1st attempt at tangling on the teeniest area cuz we all need a challenge right? – wrong! LOL!  I am entering this in to Kim Dellow’s “Show Your Face Friday” challenge. Please go on over and check it out.  I am honored that Kim chose me as someone to be inspired by.

    1. Thanks so much for the love and they are really these little mat boards you can buy thru a company called Inchies. They really handle media and ahem numerous erases really well 😀

  1. LOL! That made me laugh! You said the size (I think)! I was just agreeing blindly, so easily lead! Ok so let’s do 0.5 inch! NO! NO! It’s a joke, I’m not sure my eyesight could see that small!

I love it! So intsy weeny little zentangle-eeny, fab work and fab use of your inspiration, I love Janet’s work! Thanks for linking up to Show Your Face Inspired By and for the shout out too! And for being an inspiration yourself 🙂
